Titans will open the spring season in January

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s golfer Ryan McMillan won the 60th annual Platinum Coast Invitational on Sunday at Rockledge Country Club.

The amateur tournament features some of the best golfers from around Florida competing in stroke play over two days. And on the 60th anniversary, the Titans golfers dominated, taking the top seven spots.

McMillan, a sophomore from Winnipeg, Canada, edged teammate John Houchin in a playoff after both players finished the two-day event at 2-under 140 on the par 71 courses.

Teammate Robert Greninger placed third, shooting 1-under for the tournament with Brandon Boncore fourth and Noah Campbell fifth.

Murphy Allard placed sixth and Pontus Torgner was seventh in the event. The Titans will open the spring season in January.
