Firefighters Extinguish Residential House Fire in Merritt Island, One Person Hospitalized

Rescue crews first responded to the scene around 1:45 p.m.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue has responded to the scene of a residential house fire on the 600 block of Kurek Court in Merritt Island Friday afternoon.
Officials say one person has been taken to a local hospital for their injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
