BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Do you help charities like The Salvation Army raise money for the needy?

Tis the Season to help those in need. Brevard’s own Laura Anders Kutryb who was crowned Mrs. Classic Universe during the world pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada is volunteering herself once again – this time to raise money for The Salvation Army, ringing that famous bell at The Publix Food & Pharmacy on Merritt Island on Florida’s Space Coast.

Laura Kutryb is also among Brevard County’s most active humanitarians and lends herself to many charitable causes to help others.

As a pageant winner, real estate specialist, and entrepreneur, she is involved in many charitable endeavors. She is currently on the board of the Brevard County Humane Society and is the organization’s fundraising chairman and is a member of the Rotary Club of Cocoa and the International Propeller Club at Port Canaveral.

The Salvation Army relies on money raised in red kettles to serve more than 25 million people in need each year.

The easiest way to help from early November through Christmas Eve is to ring a bell at one of their iconic red kettles. Volunteer bell ringers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises the funds that sustain the help they give all year long.
