Brevard County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Thomas Klein Named President of Space Coast Fire Chief’s Association

Brevard County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Thomas Klein was named as the new President of the Space Coast Fire Chief’s Association. He became a Brevard County Firefighter in 2004 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2009. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Thomas Klein was named as the new President of the Space Coast Fire Chief’s Association.

Klein became a Brevard County Firefighter in 2004 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2009.

He has served the citizens of Brevard County at various locations, with his last assignment as an Engine Company Lieutenant at Station 43 on Merritt Island.

Klein holds a variety of certifications and credentials that he has earned even before arriving here in Brevard County.

The vision of the Space Coast Fire Chiefs Association is to promote the science and methods of fire prevention and protection.

To participate in any activity as a separate body in the interest of preventing the loss of life and property by fire or any other disaster; to establish a closer bond and understanding between the various fire departments and fire-rescue agencies

To function as a united body in all matters of mutual benefit of resources, technology, and overall fire department management issues.
