Cape Canaveral Man Arrested for Trafficking Methamphetamine

Charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine

Cocoa Beach Police have arrested 38-year-old Aaron Berniol from Cape Canaveral on Thursday after trespassing at the Cocoa Beach Suites Hotel on N. Atlantic Avenue, and allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine. (BCSO Image)

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police arrested 38-year-old Aaron Berniol from Cape Canaveral on Thursday after trespassing at the Cocoa Beach Suites Hotel on N. Atlantic Avenue, and allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine.

Cocoa Beach Police Detective Joe Smith conducted further investigation after a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics.

Detective Smith then located a trafficking amount of suspected methamphetamine in Berniol’s possession.

Berniol was subsequently arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail.
