The U.S. National Weather Service in Melbourne is projecting a colder temperatures will bring one of the coldest nights of the season to the Space Coast as temperatures will plunge below 50-degrees tonight.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The U.S. National Weather Service in Melbourne is projecting a colder temperatures will continue on the Space Coast as temperatures will plunge below 50-degrees tonight.

It will be mostly clear overnight with a northwest wind around 5 mph.

The Cold Night Shelters will be open at LifePointe Ministries Inc. in Titusville and HELPS Community Initiatives, Inc. (HCI) in Palm Bay/Melbourne.

NOTE: The shelter opens at 5 p.m. and closes the following day at 8:30 a.m.
