Dorothy devoted herself to caring for other, she worked as a nanny to several local doctors

Dorothy ‘Dot’ Moschello Scalesse, 88, passed away November 28, 2021. Dot was the beloved wife of the late Peter Scalesse and the late John Moschello.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Dorothy ‘Dot’ Moschello Scalesse, 88, passed away November 28, 2021. Dot was the beloved wife of the late Peter Scalesse and the late John Moschello.

She was preceded in death by her children, Kathy DuBois and Jack Moschello, and grandson, Michael Puleo. Survivors are her sister, Valerie Bishop, her sister-in-law Joan Dryden and her five remaining children and their spouses: Beth Christian (Ray), Fran Wallace (Brian), Laura Lee (Lewis), Michael Moschello (Mary), and James Moschello; 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Dot devoted herself to caring for others. After raising her family with John, she worked as a nanny to several local doctors. She also worked at Circles of Care until John’s health failed. She cared for John until his death in 2001. She later volunteered with Hospice of St. Francis and Parrish Hospital Auxiliary.

She met her second husband Peter at St. Teresa’s Church and they married in 2008. Dot joined Peter as a volunteer Church usher and also served with the Knights of Columbus. She had a quick smile, infectious laugh and caring personality. She enjoyed gardening, cruising, playing dominoes and pokeno and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

A funeral mass is planned for 11 a.m., January 14 at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Titusville.
