Joyce retired from the Brevard County Sheriff's Department Civil Division

Joyce Sarver Schweck passed peacefully on December 25, 2021. She was born in Huntington, WV on August 16, 1937, to the late Elizabeth Mariah Kincaid and Winston ‘Buck’ Sarver. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley E. Schweck, her sister, Patricia (Richard) Smith, and her brother, Winston Sarver.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Joyce Sarver Schweck passed peacefully on December 25, 2021. She was born in Huntington, WV on August 16, 1937, to the late Elizabeth Mariah Kincaid and Winston ‘Buck’ Sarver. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley E. Schweck, her sister, Patricia (Richard) Smith, and her brother, Winston Sarver.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Lynch Donovan (Daniel) and her granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Donovan, Sister-in-law, Diane Sarver, nephew Allen (Kathy) Smith and nieces Kim Smith Butler, Taffney Smith (Rick) Roberts, Tammy Sarver (Micky) Stallings and Trina Sarver (KM) Bolognini. And lots of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Joyce enjoyed a career in fashion retail in Huntington and retired from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department Civil Division. She loved singing in her church choir, classes at Boxing for Parkinson, volunteering at the King Center, and her Red Hat Group.

A memorial Service will be held at Bowe Gardens Baptist Church on Saturday, January 29th at 11 a.m., 2700 Sarno Road, Melbourne, FL 32935

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be directed to the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org or your favorite charity.
