BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Thursday, January 27.

The launch is targeted for 6:11 p.m. ET.

The rocket will carry the second COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation, or CSG 2, radar surveillance satellite for ASI, the Italian space agency.

Following first-stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on  a drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
