UPDATE: Melbourne Police Release Identities of Couple Killed in Four-Vehicle Crash on Saturday

crash happened on South Harbor City Boulevard and East New Haven Avenue

Melbourne Police have released the identities of a couple killed in a four-vehicle crash on Saturday as 26-year-old male, Humberto Borunda from Winter Garden, and 26-year-old female, Kendall Lee Ketterer from Indian Harbour Beach.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police have released the identities of a couple killed in a four-vehicle crash on Saturday as 26-year-old male, Humberto Borunda from Winter Garden, and 27-year-old female, Kendall Lee Ketterer from Indian Harbour Beach.

The investigation began around 3:24 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, when officers responded to the area of South Harbor
City Boulevard and East New Haven Avenue regarding a four-vehicle crash.

When officers arrived, they discovered the Borunda (driver) and Ketterer (passenger) of one of the involved vehicles had sustained life threatening injuries as a result of the crash and succumbed to those injuries.

Initial investigation reveals a truck traveling south on South Harbor City Boulevard struck a four-door sedan traveling east on East New Haven Avenue.

Two additional vehicles facing northbound on South Harbor City Boulevard at the traffic signal were struck as a result of the initial impact from the crash.

It is unknown if alcohol/drugs were a factor in this crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
