BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – Suntree Country Club cut the ribbon Saturday to open its $7.5 million facility project which includes a brand-new clubhouse, new cart barn, putting green, landscaping, and relocation and upgrade to the current 9th as it’s transformed into the 18th hole on the Classic course, complete with a stunning Florida capstone wall.

The new clubhouse is approximately 14,000 square feet and includes two banquet rooms, a private dining, an indoor/outdoor bar, men and women’s locker rooms and pro shop.

The existing clubhouse will be kept and repurposed once the new clubhouse is complete.

“The membership is excited to have these new facilities,” said Suntree Country Club General Manager Steve Lamontagne.

Established in 1975, Suntree Country Club is a private, member-owned country club exclusively for the enjoyment, pleasure and fellowship of its members, their families and guests.

The beautifully landscaped campus offers 36 holes of championship golf, a state-of-the-art short game practice facility, eight lighted tennis courts and a large multi-purpose sports court for a variety of recreational activities.

The dining venues and active social calendar feature activities and special member events for the entire family.

Suntree Country Club General Manager Steve Lamontagne competed in 124 PGA Tour events from 1989 until 2012 and was inducted into the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. “This new clubhouse will be a great addition to the Suntree community, as well as give our Suntree Country Club members a new and improved club experience,” said Lamontagne.

Previous enhancements to the club include updates to the tennis facility that now feature six hydro-courts along with upgraded fencing, LED lights and light poles, as well as landscaping around all the tennis courts.

The Suntree Country Club has recently hit a cap for their Equity Golf Membership and are operating off of a waitlist. Currently, there is no waitlist for social and tennis memberships.

“This new clubhouse will be a great addition to the Suntree community, as well as give our Suntree Country Club members a new and improved club experience,” said Lamontagne.
