BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The 10th Anniversary LOFT – Leap of Faith Trust Father Daughter Ball, a magical evening for dads and daughters, is set Friday evening at the Radisson at the Port.
Ticket information can be found HERE.
The popular annual event is held around Valentine’s Day every year and includes 4 to 15-year-old daughters.
“When I started 10 years ago we had 47 attendees,” said Todd McDowell, a founding member of LOFT.
“It has grown each year with 280 estimated attending this evening. It grows every year because it’s so much fun! Most of the dads and daughters come back year over year and tell their friends, so the event just continues to grow.”
LOFT hosts the annual Father Daughter Ball and subsidizes a majority of the costs to help ensure all dad’s that want to attend are able to and are not prohibited due to ticket price.
“I remember my first Father Daughter dance with my girls and they just had such a good time. It’s a great wholesome event to do with your girls. Says Todd McDowell, one of the founding members of LOFT.
The event starts at 6 p.m. and includes a family-friendly DJ, along with all the music, dancing and games; a photo booth; and a buffet dinner.
Special this year will be trophies for dads that have been coming every year for 10 years.
McDowell said LOFT subsidizes about 75 percent of the cost of this event as well as donating to various missions, including the Boys and Girls Club, and other organizations.
“The Leap of Faith Trust is comprised of a board of five members,” said McDowell. “Our purpose is to prayerfully decide how to allocate funds received to distribute to those in need.”
