BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The first annual Brian Spencer Memorial Tournament is set for March 11-13 at LaunchPad Sports in Cocoa.

The wood bat tournament is for ballplayers 9u-18u and is partnered with the AAU.

“The tournament is named after Brian Spencer who tragically lost his life after COVID complications in 2021, leaving behind  his wife and twin boys,” said Jack Sebeck, coach of Brian’s former team and friend of Brian.

“Brian was a major part of the local baseball community and dear friend of many in the Brevard County baseball community and this is an opportunity to help take care of Brian’s family.”

Proceeds from the tournament will help support the Spencer family.

The tournament will be played at LaunchPad Sports, located on 500 Friday Road in Cocoa.

“We are proud, as a team, to partner with the No. 1 youth sports organization (AAU) in the United States. AAU has the greatest reputation in the country for putting on the best family-friendly events,” Sebeck added.

“The tournament features a one all-inclusive fee that will include a tournament photographer, along with best professional medical staff on site and easily accessible tournament representatives.”
