42-Year-Old Melbourne Woman Dies After Struck by Vehicle on Eau Gallie Blvd.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A 42-year-old Melbourne woman has died early Saturday morning after she was struck by a vehicle while walking on Eau Gallie Blvd.
Police identified the deceased woman as a Leah White, 42, from Melbourne.
Melbourne Police responded to the area of Eau Gallie Blvd. just east of Croton Rd. around 3:45 a.m. in regards to vehicle vs. pedestrian crash.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and subsequently died from her injuries.
The preliminary investigation reveals the driver of the vehicle was traveling east on Eau Gallie Blvd. and struck the
pedestrian.
The driver of the vehicle is identified as a 62-year-old woman from Melbourne.
Police say it appears neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in this crash.
