Florida Tech Lacrosse Player Zach Rozgonyi Named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech Panthers Men’s lacrosse’s Zach Rozgonyi has been named the Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
The Elkridge, Maryland product picks up his first career player of the week award after tallying a career-high five points in the Panthers’ 13-12 overtime road win over No. 17 Belmont Abbey on Saturday.
Rozgonyi recorded a career-best four goals and one assist with five shots on goal to guide Tech to their first win of the season.
It was the Panthers’ first win over a ranked opponent since a 17-16 comeback victory over No. 20 Rollins in March. 23, 2019.
Rozgonyi and the Panthers are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 19 hosting Flagler College at Panther Field.
