BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Daily-Friday Night Locker Room 2021 Athlete of the Year and Melbourne Bulldogs three-star athlete Devin Alves has committed to play football at Virginia Tech.

Alves, who is ranked the No. 62 athlete prospect nationally, last season recorded 62 receptions for 1,255-yards and 15 touchdowns.

Versatility is certainly a strong suit for Alves as well. Playing on both sides of the ball his senior season, he also added 42 tackles and four interceptions to his stat sheet.

Alves had several other offers from major programs including Missouri State, Virginia State and Southern Illinois.
