OBITUARY: Leah Marie White, 41, of Melbourne, Passed Away Unexpectedly Feb. 12

Leah Marie (Sturm) White, age 41, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2022. She was born on May 16, 1980, to Deborah (Abner) and Christopher Sturm in Bethesda, Maryland.

Leah obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and was working towards her Master’s Degree in Business. She was licensed to sell insurance in several states, and was currently employed at NuVantage Insurance in Florida. She enjoyed cross-stitching and reading crime drama novels. Leah adored her Boston Terrier fur-babies, Cubby & Layla.

She is survived by her parents: Debbie and Chris Sturm, brother: Christopher Sturm, step-daughters: Maria, Katelyn, Gracie, Nicole AKA “Peanut”, nephews: Lucas, Colton, Henry, paternal grandmother: Norma Sturm, former husband, and friend: David Webb, fur-babies: Cubby & Layla, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jason White, paternal grandfather: James Sturm, maternal grandparents: Margaret Lucile and Kenneth Abner.

A Visitation will take place Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood, Ohio 45322). A Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 25  at Kindred Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dayton Children’s Hospital in Leah’s memory.
