BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech swimming qualified three swimmers for the NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

On the women’s side, graduate student Savannah Brennan qualified in the 200 Breast (2:17.16), 400 IM (4:22.41), 500 Free (4:55.88), and 1000 Free (10:04.08). This is Brennan’s fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships.

Senior Nicole Rautemberg will be making her first appearance at the NCAA’s thanks to her 1:51.06 time in the 200 Free.

On the men’s side, junior Daniel Aizenberg qualified in the 100 Back (47.50) for the second consecutive season.

“I’m very proud of these three athletes,” said head coach David Dent.

“Savannah will be competing at her fourth NCAA championship, so this isn’t anything new for her but this year she’s seeded really well in a few of her events so we are hoping to come home with some hardware. This is Daniel’s second trip to the championships, last season he came home with a 6th place finish in the 100 back, we added a few events to his lineup this year so we’re excited to see how he does in those.

“As for Nicole, this is her first championship appearance, she is very excited for this opportunity and I’m excited to see how she performs! All in all, it’s going to be a fun trip and I’m excited to be taking these amazing Scholar-Athletes this year!”

The championships will be held March 9-12 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
