BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On the heels of Brevard Public Schools Board Member Matt Susin’s successful trades tour showing off the Patient Care Assistance, Culinary, Engineering, Robotics and Cybersecurity at Melbourne High School, BPS has announced the extension of the tour to include dates for all its high schools.

Last month, via Space Coast Daily TV, more than 10,000 viewers watched students engaged in welding, tuning cars, calibrating boat motors, and even working on jets.

“Overwhelming support poured in from the business community around Brevard to offer jobs and mentorships for the students,” said Susin, who represents District 4 on the BPS board.

“Even the Fast MD Rolex 24 Hour race team called and asked to create a partnership with the automotive program. Every sector of Brevard’s workforce is in need of employees and BPS has uniquely positioned itself to fill those needs with innovative programs.”

You can watch Susin live on Space Coast Daily TV at 11 a.m. on each of the scheduled dates listed below and spread the word about the best trades programs in the state.
