Gather one and all for the seventh season of the Brevard Renaissance Fair, Which began January 8  in the Forest of Wickham Park, located at 2500 Parkway Drive in Melbourne, Florida.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Gather one and all for the seventh season of the Brevard Renaissance Fair, which will continue in the Forest of Wickham Park, located at 2500 Parkway Drive in Melbourne, Florida.

■ CELTIC FIFTH WEEKEND – FEB. 5-6: Fire up the pipes and tune the fiddle, for this weekend belongs to the Celts. Let Cu Dubh and The Jackdaws take you on a musical journey of rebellion and reminiscence, drink a pint or two, and perhaps show off your knees and well-turned calves at our “Bonnie Knees Kilt Contest”.

CELTIC NOVA CONCERT – February 5, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.: The majestic sound of the Great Highland Bagpipe soars above a powerful rock band, the masterly played violin expands the unique style with symphonic-epic melodies.

Influences of Irish Folk, Symphonic Metal and Scottish tradition merge with the energetic Celtic Rock music, full of lust of life. This sound, as international as the musicians – hailing from Scotland, USA, Bulgaria and Austria – and the spectacular show guarantee a concert no one will ever forget.

Next up is HEROES OF THE REALM – Jan. 29-30: Join the action for a celebration of the Heroes of The Realm. This weekend, is dedicated to the burning of the Wickerman to the memory of the fallen and honor the living at our end-of-day Pub Sing.

An extraordinary admission of $15 for those with a Service ID is the Fair’s way of giving thanks. Qualifying groups consisting of active service members, veterans, EMTs (including hospital workers), Police, Firefighters and their immediate family members all qualify for the special admission price.

The Faire showcases talented artisans and craftspeople from all over the countryside who display and sell a variety of goods, trinkets and wares. Visitors to the Brevard County Rennaisance Festival will find one-of-a-kind blacksmithing, pewter jewelry, stone carvings, woodworking, weaving, hand-blown glassware, leather crafts and much more.

• The excitement is electrifying whether you’re cheering on armored knights as they joust on the Tournament Field, or enjoying a show at one of the 6 stages of continuous entertainment.

• Just when you think you are having fun, there’s more – Rides and games of skill that challenge those of any age; shoot arrows throw battle-axes.

Brevard Renaissance Fair’s goal is to find the finest Renaissance Acts in the land and bring them to the Brevard Renaissance Fair. This year they will be bringing you some of the top acts in the nation as selected by the people that attended fairs throughout the country last year.

With more than 100 stage shows daily, varieties of foods and treats, and numerous artisan merchants with handcrafted wares, the Brevard Renaissance Fair invites guests to immerse themselves in a unique experience of History and Fantasy.
