Aging Matters in Brevard, City of Cocoa Host Ribbon-Cutting for Newest Seniors at Lunch Site

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Aging Matters in Brevard, the Lead Agency for Senior Services in Brevard County, and the City of Cocoa held a Grand Opening for the organization’s newest Seniors at Lunch site in Cocoa at the Dr. Joe Lee Smith Recreation Center.

Aging Matters in Brevard officials, Cocoa Mayor Mike Blake, Brevard County Commissioner Bryan Lober and Cocoa City Council member Rip Dyal were all on hand for the ceremony.

Seniors At Lunch is held at 12 different group dining sites throughout Brevard County every weekday and provides hot meals and activities to Brevard’s Senior 60 years and older population.

Participants enjoy food, friendship and activities, and bus transportation is provided to many participating centers.
