BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – April Rocco, an accomplished Brevard County mixed-media artist in Cocoa Village, has released a brand new series of paintings spotlighting Florida’s landscape and entertainment figures.
April, who currently works at Ryan’s in Cocoa Village and has been a hospitality professional in Brevard County for the past 20 years, will be taking some time off from work to heal after knee surgery.
All proceeds from the special series paintings will go to cover her medical expenses related to the surgery and rehab.
April’s paintings are available to be purchased at Ryan’s Pizza and Pub and can also be purchased on her Facebook page HERE.

April is a second-generation native Floridian, who grew up in Daytona Beach and has always had a passion for drawing.
“My earliest memories are of painting and making crafts,” said April.
“I found an interest in painting when I became a scenic painter for major theme park productions during the 1990s in Orlando. Working as a scenic painter, alongside many talented people, allowed me to become the artist I am today. I learned the foundation of painting and gained experience by working on the sets of “Twister,” “Cat in the Hat,” and “Jurassic Park.”
