BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The accolades continued to roll in for the Panther swimming program Thursday evening on the second day of competition in the 2022 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
Daniel Aizenberg earned All-American honors for the second consecutive year by qualifying for the 100 Fly B final with a career-best time of 47.46. That time earned Aizenberg Honorable Mention All-American honors.
The junior from Maale Adumim, Israel placed sixth in the B final with a time of 47.75. Aizenberg earned First Team honors in 2021 by placing sixth in the 100 Back.

The graduate student from Oviedo, Florida became an Honorable Mention All-American by clocking in with a 4:23.25 finish in the morning prelims, then won the B final with a time of 4:18.40, which was over a second ahead of her nearest competition.

Coach’s Corner
“We had a good day today. Nikki, Daniel, and Sav all recorded lifetime bests,” said Head Coach David Dent.
“Daniel was able to jump up a few spots this morning and was able to score some points this evening. Sav gave it all she had this morning and just missed making the A final, but she didn’t let that phase her.”
“She swam lights out and won the B final with the best time and school record. Nikki had an amazing swim this morning, dropping a few tenths from her best time and finished 18th overall.”
Tech will return to the pool on Friday for Day Three as Aizenberg will compete in the 100 Back and Brennan will compete in the 500 Free. Prelims are scheduled to start at 10 A.M.
