On Wednesday night showers and thunderstorms are likely before 11 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Melbourne calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m., mostly cloudy skies, with a high near 81, south to southwest wind around 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%, new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

The chance of precipitation is 60%, new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

On Wednesday night showers and thunderstorms are likely before 11 p.m., then a slight chance of showers between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy skies, with a low around 62, with west to southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. The chance of precipitation is 60%, new precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

■ Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

■ Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. South southwest wind around 5 mph.

■ Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

■ Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph after midnight.

■ Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. North northeast wind around 10 mph.

■ Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. North northeast wind around 10 mph.

■ Monday: Sunny, with a high near 78. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
