NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE: Chance of Showers and Thunderstorms, High Near 83, for Brevard County on Thursday

Thursday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11 a.m, high near 83, south wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph, and a chance of precipitation at 80% on Thursday. 

New rainfall amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible.

■ Thursday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m., then a chance of showers, low around 55. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%, new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

■ Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8 a.m. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 74. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

■ Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. West wind around 5 mph.

■ Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 76. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

■ Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 53. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

■ Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 74. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

■ Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

■ Monday: Sunny, with a high near 76. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.

■ Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 56. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight.
