Palm Bay Fire Rescue Units Extinguish Structure Fire at Windwood Apartments

no injuries to any citizens or fire personnel

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue, along with Brevard County Fire Rescue, extinguished a structure fire at the Windwood Apartments on Tuesday.

According to officials, the two apartments were heavily involved with fire upon arrival. Officials say the two apartments next door sustained smoke damage.

Shortly after arriving, Palm Bay Fire Rescue was able to put the fire out.

FPL and Red Cross were called to assist occupants.

“There were no injuries to any citizens or fire personnel,” said Palm Bay Fire Rescue.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
