Police Identify Victim in Fatal Shooting as 50-Year-Old Man from Melbourne

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department have released the identity of the victim in a fatal shooting that happened Sunday night (March 20) near the intersection of Lipscomb Street and W.H. Jackson Street in Melbourne.
Police identified the victim as 50-year-old Bobby Lewis.
When officers arrived, they located evidence of a shooting and the body of a Lewis in the front yard of a house on the 2300 block of Canal Street.
Officers secured the scene, and eventually turned the investigation over to the Criminal Investigations Division who are actively investigating.
