Stone Middle School Teacher Arrested by Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for Child Exploitation Warrant

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 40-year-old Joseph Komjathy of Melbourne, after a warrant was issued in Indian River County charging him with five counts of Distribution of Harmful Material to a Minor and one count of Unlawful Use of a Two-way Communication Device.

Komjathy was taken into custody yesterday evening, without incident, at his residence by agents from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office SORT Unit.

Komjathy has been employed by Brevard Public Schools as a teacher at Stone Middle School in Melbourne since April 2021.
