BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – On April 9, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. the City of Melbourne will participate in Trash Bash, the annual county-wide litter cleanup day. Trash Bash continues a tradition that has been sponsored nationally by Keep America Beautiful for over a half-century as the Great American Cleanup, encouraging efforts to clean roadways, waterways, and parks.
You Can Help!
The City of Melbourne is actively seeking Trash Bash volunteers. With nine clean-up sites around the city this year, there is sure to be one near you. Make new friends, and help keep our town beautiful.
What You Get
■ Every volunteer will be provided FREE breakfast (donated by Publix and other local vendors), water, snacks, sunscreen, gloves, bags and safety gear.
■ The first 200 people to contact the City of Melbourne will receive a free T-shirt!
How to Register
■ If you, your family, church group, or organization would like to participate, please email adoptaroad@mlbfl.org to preregister with the number of volunteers and site location of choice.
