WATCH: Brevard County Fire Rescue, along with members of the community, conducted a “Push in” ceremony for Engine 47 on Friday.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue, along with members of the community, conducted a “Push in” ceremony for Engine 47 on Friday.

“Thank you to everyone who participated in today’s push-in ceremony for Engine 47!” said Brevard County Fire Rescue officials.

“It was a beautiful day for this traditional ceremony dedicating the new engine into service.”

Brevard County Fire Rescue Station 47, located in Melbourne, provides fire protection and emergency response services to the South Brevard community.

In addition to responding to fires, Brevard County Fire Rescue Station 47 crews also respond to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, and incidents involving hazardous materials.
