Police say they received a call from a citizen stating a dog appeared stuck in the mud in a canal.
When officers arrived, K9 Officer Carrol sprung into action and was able to heroically rescue the dog.

The dog does not have a collar or tags, therefore, police are receiving assistance from Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services.
“If you know the dog’s owners, please reach out to them (BCSO Animal Services).”
