BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is targeting Friday, March 18 for a Falcon 9 launch of Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
Launch is targeted for 11:23 p.m. ET.
The latest weather report shows conditions are 70-percent favorable on Friday with heavy cloud cover being the major concern.
SpaceX’s Starlink is the constellation of networked satellites aimed to provide internet services to those who are not yet connected, and to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe.
The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on the drone ship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” in the Atlantic Ocean.
