NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE: 50 Percent Chance of Showers and Thunderstorms, High Near 79, for Brevard County on Saturday

The National Weather Service in Melbourne calls for a  50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8 a.m., otherwise mostly cloudy skies, with a high near 81. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph, new rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne calls for a  50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8 a.m., otherwise mostly cloudy skies, with a high near 81. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph, new rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. East southeast wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. East southeast wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Light south wind becoming east southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
