Tuesday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 5 p.m., mostly sunny skies, with a high near 86. 

South to southeast wind expected to be from 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph, the chance of precipitation is 60%, and new rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

■ Tuesday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 p.m, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

■ Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

■ Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. South wind around 5 mph.

■ Thursday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
