BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Get ready to “H.I.T. the streets” with Sheriff Wayne Ivey and the men and women of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office directed patrol unit as they police high intensity target areas throughout Brevard County.

In this latest episode of H.I.T., the BCSO team highlights the West Precinct with vehicle and foot pursuits, drug arrests, cash seizures, and a domestic dispute.

“H.I.T. (High Intensity Target) The Streets is our latest crime-fighting initiative that targets criminals before they can target our citizens,” said Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey. H.I.T.

“The Streets utilizes Crime Analysis and Mapping to identity high crimes areas in our community for our Directed Patrol Unit to focus their efforts of preventing violent crime, drug overdoses, narcotics transactions, auto theft and other crimes that target our citizens. Get ready to “H.I.T. The Streets” with us as we work together to keep your community safe,” said Sheriff Ivey.
