Are you fed up with the same routine over and over again? You’re not the only one who feels trapped in this loop. Following the same routine daily often ruins the most important part of a week – The Weekend.

So, if you have fallen victim to such a boring or unlively life, then try the following activities this weekend.

Try some physical Activities like,

1) A short walk

Going on a short walk can do wonders on any day. But, if you can’t do it daily, at least try to take out some time this weekend. Taking some time off to go out for a walk is healthy and fun.

2) A run

If you want to go a level beyond walking, you should go for a run. You will keep your body healthy and give you a feeling of achieving something.

3) Go Swimming Or Go Dancing

Swimming and dancing are those activities that keep you fit, engaged, and happy. If you don’t know how to swim, find an instructor and take on this challenge. If you don’t know how to dance, close your eyes and dance like nobody’s watching you.

Watch something which gives some value, like

4) Wildlife

If there is a park or zoo near you, go there and watch nature in action.

5) Go to a playground

If you’re not shy of anyone, have some fun on the joy rides just like we used to do in our childhood. It brings back a lot of good memories and also keeps you healthy. You can also sit there for a while and enjoy other people or children having fun.

6) Visit your favorite stadium or team if possible

It might not be possible for a lot of people, but if you can somehow manage it, please do so. Watching a live game with supporters like you gives a feel of togetherness.

Be productive while staying Indoors,

7) Watch Sports Online

Watching a team game enhances your teamwork capability. You can see the live streaming of your favorite sport from the comfort of your home. Even if you don’t have any paid subscriptions, you can also explore free streaming options that might be available for you.

8) Do some cooking

You don’t necessarily have to audition for Masterchef. But you can make some bread, popcorn, salad, etc. It keeps you occupied and can lift your mood.

9) Watch some motivational documentaries

I could have suggested watching anything on Netflix, YouTube, or any other platform. But you can do that on any weekend or even on a weekday. I recommend you watch a good documentary or two this weekend. You can learn a lot of good things from them.

10) Spent some time playing board games

If you have had enough of your mobile or laptop, try some traditional board games. Call your family members or friends and play games like Ludo, Snakes or ladder, etc. You can also ask them for a game of their choice.

Spend some time with Pets

11) You can spend some quality time with pets that you have, or you can go outside and play with stray animals. It is not just about playing. You can feed them, groom them if they allow you to, pet them, and even adopt them.

12) You can also visit a local NGO and help in any way. You can donate money, clothes, or anything useful. You can also voluntarily do some work as per the requirement.

Go Creative

13) Make a Kite if you can

It doesn’t take a lot of tools to make a simple kite. It can be a fun activity too. So, make a kite and see if it can fly and touch the sky.

14) Draw

Even if you are not good at drawing, pick up a pencil and let your imagination do the work. If you want to do a little more fun, you can do experiments with colors.

15) Write a letter

It may sound just romantic, but it is not. People prefer emails, texts, or calls these days. In this evolving world of technology, writing a letter to your loved ones can melt anyone’s heart.

Learn Something New

 16) Learn a new skill

Have you ever heard ” It’s never too late to start”? Well, if you haven’t, now you have. There is no better time than a weekend to learn a new skill. Scroll through some websites and see which one grabs your attention.

17) Read

Pick up a novel or any book you want, and enjoy your quiet time at home over the weekend.

18) Learn some other language/languages

It may seem a little too much for many of us, but it is a fun thing to do. Sign up for any course that teaches foreign languages that excites you.
