Candlelighters of Brevard Celebrates 30 years With ‘Let It Shine’ Giving Initiative

Bill and Stephanie Brown donated $50,000 to sponsor the campaign, provide funding to Family Services program

WATCH: Candlelighters of Brevard will celebrate their 30 years of service to our local community, and to celebrate this milestone anniversary, will be hold a year-long giving initiative highlighting both the history and the future of the organization.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Candlelighters of Brevard will celebrate their 30 years of service to our local community, and to celebrate this milestone anniversary, will be hold a year-long giving initiative highlighting both the history and the future of the organization.

“The theme of the anniversary campaign is ‘Let It Shine,’ which will showcase how the children and families of Candlelighters have let their light shine over the past three decades thanks to the support of Candlelighters’ donors and supporters,” said Candlelighters of Brevard Executive Director Natasha Duran.

“We proudly introduce our inspirational families who are shining their light in honor of our 30th Anniversary Campaign.”

Duran extended a special thanks to the presenting sponsors, Bill and Stephanie Brown.

“The Browns have graciously donated $50,000 to sponsor the campaign and to provide direct funding to Family Services programming,” said Duran.

“Their generous support is allowing Candlelighters to nearly double the caps on existing programs and services – as well as create a new bereavement program for families suffering the unimaginable loss of a child to pediatric cancer. Candlelighters is forever grateful for the love and thoughtfulness displayed by Bill and Stephanie Brown.”

Duran said every donation dollar counts towards lifting our precious youth.

“Candlelighters of Brevard would be honored to have you join us as we recognize our courageous little warriors; create a deeper awareness about the cause; and support local families battling pediatric cancer because kids can’t fight cancer alone,” said Duran.
