Under a stunning full moon on May 14, Melbourne Main Street hosted more than 350 business and community leaders for The Flavor Experience at The Landing Rooftop to raise funds to revitalize Downtown Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Under a stunning full moon on May 14, Melbourne Main Street hosted more than 350 business and community leaders for The Flavor Experience at The Landing Rooftop to raise funds to revitalize Downtown Melbourne.

Guests were treated to vibrant flavors, entertainment and friendship as the beautiful rooftop venue was transformed into a stroll along the Mediterranean Coast. Six stations of unique dishes were enjoyed with a distinctive paired cocktail to tantalize the pallet.

“Attendees understand that downtowns are essentially the living room of our community and need to reflect the economic health of our entire area,” said Melbourne Main Street Executive Director Kim Agee.

“Each of the businesses and individuals who supported Melbourne Main Street through their sponsorship of The Flavor Experience are making an investment in the future of our amazing downtown.”

Agee said proceeds from The Flavor Experience will be invested in Melbourne Main Street’s efforts to market and promote Downtown Melbourne as the premier destination for dining, celebrations, shopping, interactive experiences, services, and more. In addition, funds will be used to advocate for enhanced lighting, safety, beautification, and revitalization issues.

“We are fortunate that our community understands the importance of a vibrant, fresh, and engaging downtown district and is willing to make investments of time, advice, connections, and capital outlay to ensure the success of this mission,” said Agee.

“Melbourne Main Street is grateful for the partnerships and investments toward the revitalization of Downtown Melbourne and promises to be prudent stewards of the contributions.”
