MOAACC Honors 23 Brevard Students Who Received Appointment to Military Academy, ROTC Scholarship

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – At their monthly luncheon on Tuesday, May 17, Military Officers Association of America Cape Canaveral Chapter members honored 23 Brevard County students who received an appointment to a military academy or an ROTC scholarship at a college or university.
These students went through a rigorous selection process and represent the top-performing students in Brevard County.
During the program, each student received a personalized letter of congratulations from MOAACC President Kenneth Lowe and a MOAACC challenge coin in recognition of their achievement.
The students honored and their schools included:

■ Sebastian Widick, Cocoa Beach High – U.S. Air Force Academy
■ Haley Neal, Eau Gallie High – University of South Florida
■ Ramsey Grace Barrows, Home School – U.S. Military Academy
■ Larry Edgecombe, Holy Trinity Episcopal – U.S. Air Force Academy
■ Patrick Faherty, Melbourne High – U.S. Military Academy

■ Peyton Caskey, Merritt Island High – Embry-Riddle University

The Military Officers Association of America Cape Canaveral Chapter is an affiliate of the National Military Officers Association of America. The mission of the Chapter is to promote the aims of the Military Officers Association of America.
The organization advocates for national and state legislative actions that protect the rights and interests of veterans, uniformed services retirees, and active-duty personnel, including all dependents and survivors of the same.
