Friday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard County on Monday calls for A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m., along with increasing clouds, with a high near 90. South to southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. 

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard County on Monday calls for A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m., along with increasing clouds, with a high near 90. South to southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. 

The chance of precipitation on Friday is 70%, new rainfall amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible.

■ Friday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South southeast wind around 5 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

■ Saturday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70%.

■ Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

■ Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
