OBITUARY: Florence Randy Allegra, 97, of Melbourne, Passed Away Peacefully May 15

Florence was the youngest and has been predeceased by all her 11 siblings

Florence Randy Allegra passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022. Her husband, John, of 73 years, and her son, Michael were by her side and holding her hand. Florence (Rennick) was born December 13, 1924, in Winnipeg, Canada of Ukrainian parents, Michael and Lillian Rennick.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florence Randy Allegra passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022. Her husband, John, of 73 years, and her son, Michael were by her side and holding her hand. Florence (Rennick) was born December 13, 1924, in Winnipeg, Canada of Ukrainian parents, Michael and Lillian Rennick.

Florence was the youngest and has been predeceased by all her 11 siblings. Although they were a large family, they grew up with modest means which kept them a very close family.

She leaves behind her husband John and son Michael and his family Gael, Sierra and Lauren as well as grandchildren Jonathan and Lexi. Her other two sons, John and Allen, preceded her in death and are looking forward to seeing her.

She traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Pacific. She enjoyed entertaining guests at her many different homes from New York, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Hawaii, and finally to Florida. Her favorite activity was playing bridge with her friends. She was a most excellent bridge player and an excellent shopper.

Visitation will be held at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955 (321-636-8943), on Sunday, May 22 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens’ Chapel of Peace the following day Monday, May 23 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please offer donations to St Francis Reflections Hospice (6905 N Wickham Rd, Suite 403, Melbourne, Fl 32940, (321-269-4240)). They were so kind to her in her final days. Also, special thanks to the wonderful people at Chateau Madeleine who cared for her during her last years. They are wonderful people.
