BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – Israel Jeremy Batson, age 46, was welcomed to his heavenly home after a courageous battle with a very rare and devastating cancer. Israel was a born-again Christian, who found such strength and faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Romans 8:38-39 were strength and faith verses for him.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His faith for God came first and his love for family next. Israel is survived by his wife Helene Batson, who loved and devoted her all without hesitation, daughter Taylor, daughter Jordan, and Son Kyle; Mother Cynthia Woods Batson; Father Steven D. Batson and step-mother Carolyn Batson; Sister Natasha Ward, and many special family members.

Israel was preceded in death by many family members and is rejoicing with them in Heaven. Israel graduated from South Lake High School in Clermont, Florida in 1994 and was employed 25 years with Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers Inc., where he was loved and deeply respected. Israel touched so many lives and will continue to do so.

Israel fought the good fight with such strength, courage, and faith that inspired family, friends, and people who did not know him personally. Hearts are hurting, but the memories you have left will bring smiles and comfort eventually.

The promises from God of a new body, no pain, and no tears have been fulfilled now. Till we join you in our eternal home. We love you Israel. Through Israel’s wishes he will be cremated and his life will be celebrated on May 20.

Donations can be made to St. Jude’s in honor of Israel. Condolences may be shared at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com.
