Also speaking will be Associate Pastor Allee Willcox, of Suntree United Methodist Church. She will deliver her remarks with her close friend of 10 years, Rev. Amy Armistead, Pastor of The Gathering Place, a new church organized through First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach.
The half-day event will include music, activities, door prizes, and more.

Allee Willcox met Amy Armistead as an undergraduate at Florida Southern College. The pair then attended Divinity School together at Duke.
“The relationships we often have with our female friends can be significant parts of our support network,” said Rev. Willcox
“Post COVID, building supportive, faith-centered relationships is more important than ever. This conference seeks to highlight and encourage us to invest in these relationships for our own emotional and spiritual well-being.”
