BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE BEACH, FLORIDA – U.S. Coast Guard rescue crews are searching for 68-year-old Dale Hossfield after his 29-foot boat washed up on Melbourne Beach Wednesday evening.

Coast Guard rescue crews along with Florida Fish and Wildlife and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office are collaborating on the search.

Hossfield is a Vero Beach native.
