BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa to host Florida-Friendly Landscaping Certification field modules on June 2.

Are you a landscaping professional? Do you want to add “Florida-Friendly” to your resume?

Then consider becoming a Florida-Friendly Landscaping Certified Professional!

The Florida-Friendly Landscaping Program offers an FFLCP designation to individuals who have completed the required training and are familiar with the latest UF/IFAS recommendations.

Individuals who earn this certification have demonstrated the ability to recognize and address common landscape issues by using environmentally sustainable landscape management practices that help preserve and protect Florida’s water and natural resources.

FFLCP candidates must complete prerequisite online courses, participate in a field module with an exam, and agree to the code of ethics.

We are offering the field module portion at the UF/IFAS Extension office in Cocoa on June 2, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registration for this module costs $50.
