WATCH: Courtenay Springs Village Hosts Birthday Celebration for Centenarian Residents

Courtenay Springs Village offers residential living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services

WATCH: The Courtenay Springs Village highlighted the birthdays of centenarian residents that have made the amazing milestone of being 100 years old. The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson was on hand for the party!

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Courtenay Springs Village highlighted the birthdays of centenarian residents that have made the amazing milestone of being 100 years old.

“We especially like to highlight those that are over 100 years old and currently, at Courtenay Springs, we have four wonderful ladies that are over the age of 100, including Betty (108), Josephine (101), Mabel (107) and Norma (103),” said Courtenay Springs Village Activities Coordinator Jessica Trapp.

Serving the community for over 30 years, Courtenay Springs Village offers residential living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services all on one campus.

This community is proud to be part of the Retirement Housing Foundation, one of the nation’s largest non-profit providers of housing and services for older adults, persons with disabilities, and low-income families.

Courtenay Springs Village, a multi-level retirement community on Merritt Island, will host a the combined birthday party for its four centenarian residents, and as part of their annual day of service, Keller Williams Space Coast will partner with Courtenay Springs Village to honor these very special residents.

Red Day is Keller Williams’ annual day of service. Since May of 2009 the entire company at Keller Williams, from the U.S. and Canada to their family abroad, sets aside the second Thursday of May to Renew, Energize and Donate to the communities they serve.

Keller Williams Space Coast Realty is one of the newest Brokerages in Brevard County and in two short years has grown to approximately 70 agents. They also have the distinction of being named the runner-up in the Keller Williams International Market Center Launches Worldwide for 2021.

Keller Williams Space Coast will join with Courtenay Springs Village by honoring residents who are celebrating centenarian birthdays by providing sing-alongs of favorite hits, a music D.J., fun activities, food and beverages for all the residents.

“When Patty Romano, KW Space Coast Realty, approached me about the company volunteering for RED DAY, I was thrilled!” said Trapp.

“The KW Space Coast Realty team has come up with great ideas for our party; a photo booth, Booze and Tattoos where residents can choose from a variety of fake tattoos, a manicure station, a 1940s music singalong at our piano, and a DJ, arranging for food and drink to be provided.”

Others making contributions to the celebration includes Steve Trapp with Twin Rivers Residential Remodel and A/C for donating the decorations, Derek Bailey with Trident Adjusting Group for donating the cake, and Jill Moore’s photo booth.
