ABOVE VIDEO: A wildfire is burning in Brevard County near US-1 and Canp Rd., forcing some homes to be evacuated, officials say.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Forest Service and local fire rescue units are currently on the scene of a three-acre brush fire near US-1 and Camp Rd. in Cocoa.
The fire’s designated name is Persimmons.
Some homes in the area have had to be evacuated due to the potential risk the fire poses to nearby houses.
