Brevard Sheriff’s Office to Honor Fallen Heroes May 20 at the American Police Hall of Fame

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Each year during National Police Officer Memorial Week, Law Enforcement Officers and the families of fallen heroes gather together at the American Police Hall of Fame to remember those who gave their lives while serving to protect their communities.

This year’s American Police Hall of Fame Memorial Service will take place on Friday, May 20 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Hall of Fame located at 6350 Horizon Drive in Titusville.

While the service is a somber time of remembrance, it is also a time to reflect on the greatness of those we lost. An uplifting journey that truly captures the honor, dignity, dedication, and persona of each man and woman who made the ultimate sacrifice.

As part of this year’s National Police Officer Memorial Week, our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Media Production Team created a memorial video that displays the names and photos of our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office fallen heroes, the state of Florida’s fallen heroes in 2021, and the names of all of the Law Enforcement Officers across our great nation who lost their lives in 2021 while protecting their communities.

The video is set to a beautiful song called “Heart Bleeds Blue” that was actually written and performed by my daughter, Janna Perez with accompaniment by Corporal Jay Martinez of our Crime Prevention Unit.

Please take a moment to watch this beautiful video tribute to our fallen heroes and also please join us this coming Friday evening at the American Police Hall of Fame, as we honor America’s Finest Law Enforcement Officers.
