West Melbourne Police Seeking Two Suspects Who Attempted to Steal Chase Bank ATM

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – West Melbourne police officers were on the scene of the Chase Bank at 115 Palm Bay Road in response to an attempted theft of an ATM machine at around 4:10 a.m. on Thursday.

According to a West Melbourne police spokesperson, when officers arrived they observed an unoccupied Ford F-250 and an ATM Machine located in the grassy area just north of the bank.

“Also attached were chains that appeared to have been used in the attempted theft. Two unknown individuals were observed on security footage but had fled the area,” said a West Melbourne police official.

“West Melbourne officers, with the assistance of Palm Bay Police Department, conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the individuals.”

Police said the F-250 truck was recently reported stolen out of the city of Ocoee.
