Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Identifies Couple Found Dead in Unincorporated Rockledge

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the couple who were found dead yesterday afternoon in unincorporated Rockledge.

The couple are identified as 89-year-old David Horn and his wife 84-year-old Martha Horn.

The investigation began when deputies responded to the area of Glenn Avenue in unincorporated Rockledge after a family member reported the couple missing from their residence.

Both individuals were suffering from the infirmities of aging and were discovered during a search of the area, dead in a nearby drainage swale.

The couple were transported to the Brevard County Medical Examiner’s Office where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Based on the investigation to date, investigators do not suspect any criminal involvement or foul play in their deaths.
